EUGENE, OregonĀ – Team DMG has over 30 American athletes competing in the US Olympic Trials at the Historic Hayward Stadium in Eugene Oregon. Events kicked off on July 1st with an opening ceremony that included our very own Adam Nelson receiving his well deserved gold medal from the 2004 Olympic Games. He was wreathed and the national anthem was played for is honor in front of crowd of thousands. Adam also would be returning to the circle as he competed in the shot put after retiring in 2013. Using the hashtag #StrongerAt40 Adam wanted to show that age doesn’t matter when choosing to accomplish a goal! After a resilient effort Adam made it to the final with Olympic silver medalist Reese Hoffa and they placed 7th & 5th respectively. Top 3 of all events advance to Rio.
